Rents on the rise again in Carlow and Kilkenny

The average rents have increased in both Carlow and Kilkenny, while the number of properties available to rent has fallen.

The latest figures from Daft dot ie show the average rent in Kilkenny is now €850 – up 10.5%, while you can expect to pay €820 per month in Carlow – up 11.5%.

Speaking to KCLR News, Martin Clancy from Daft dot ie says unfortunately, these increases are in keeping with the national picture.

They have also noticed a drop in the number of properties available to rent.

As of the 1st of November this year there were just 716 properties available in Leinster, outside of Dublin.
