Representatives of bus serving Carlow and Kilkenny which is set to be withdrawn from this weekend call on Government to reverse decision

Representatives of those who use a bus service which is set to be withdrawn this weekend has hit out at the lack of response or direct contact from public representatives.

The National Transport Authority’s confirmed the Expressway Route 4 from next Sunday will no longer be in operation and will be replaced by a Public Service Obligation offering which will run between Waterford & Carlow only.

The 4 Bus 4 You group in a statement to KCLR has outlined how distraught people on the ground are, referencing the depth of their anger while they also say they do not & will not accept the outcome, calling on Government to overturn the decision.
