Retired Herity reveals that he had hip and knee injuried before All Ireland Final

Retired Kilkenny Senior goalkeeper David Herity has revealed to KCLR that he had been injured twice in training in the lead-up to this years All-Ireland drawn final.

The Dunamaggin net minder who announced his retirement earlier in the week tore a ligament in his hip and also sustained knee damage in the run-up to the final.

David says that it would have been too risky to be considered for selection for the All-Ireland final…..
