Works resume on the N10 Kilkenny Ring Road at Ossory Bridge today (Monday, 4th March).
There had been traffic disruption for a time last year as the stretch was improved for pedestrian and cycling use and hopes of works being completed before Christmas were dashed in December.
However, the completion has been carried over and recommence this morning with a focus on the watermain and testing, deck joint installation, barrier modifications, footpaths and fencing.
It’s not yet known how long this latest round of works will take.
There will be traffic management at times and motorists should note delays are expected.
Meanwhile, hear what Director of Services with the county council Tim Butler has to say re works duration etc here.
