SEMRA took part in their first mountain rescue of 2017 yesterday

Members of the South East Mountain Rescue took part in their first rescue operation of 2017 yesterday.
The crew were called to help an injured walker on Sliabh na mBan in South Tipperary.
It was a joint operation involving Gardaí, the National Ambulance Service and Rescue 117.
SEMRA members helped to load the casualty who was brought by air to University Hospital Waterford.
This was their first mission after what they say was a very quiet Christmas period.
