An investigation’s underway into a public order incident that happened in Carlow Town last evening.
KCLR News understands that a row broke out at a premises on Kennedy Street, spilling out onto the road, with two men seen striking each other.
Eyewitnesses also report that windows were hit but don’t appear to have been damaged.
Many were shocked by what they saw on what’s considered to be a busy thoroughfare between Carlow Town centre and Graiguecullen, passing motorists honking horns in a bid to warn others.
Gardaí have confirmed they’re looking into a public order incident at about 7pm in that area and that their investigations are ongoing.
