Sinn Fein is the latest party to confirm their candidate for the General Election.
Kathleen Funchion was approved at convention last night in Carlow and will be the partys represenative on the ballot paper in Carlow-Kilkenny.
The Kilkenny Councillor ran in the recent by-election securing more than 10 thousand first preference votes and finishing in 3rd place.
