2 more candidates have been picked for next years local elections in Kilkenny.
Sinn Féin held selection conventions this week for the Piltown and the Thomastown/Callan electoral areas.
Grace Doyle who is based in Ferrybank will run in the Piltown district and sitting Councillor David Kennedy will contest for a seat in the newly formed Thomastown/Callan area.
Councillor Kennedy says it is a privilege to get the nomination to contest again for a council seat.
The party intends to run a candidate in each of the 4 electoral areas next May.
