Some of the most creative students in Carlow and Kilkenny are gearing up for the Junk Kouture regional finals

Creative local students are gearing up for next week’s Junk Kouture regional finals.

Seven projects from Carlow or Kilkenny based secondary schools have made it through to the next stage – among them;

• Paragon Pink – St Leo’s College, Carlow town
• Síocháin ar Domhan – Castlecomer Community School
• Game Night Glam – Presentation de la Salle College, Bagenalstown
• Tangled in Trash – Presentation Kilkenny, Kilkenny city
• Tea Time – Grennan College, Thomstown
• Neo – Tullow Community College
• Puzzlefins – Abbey Community College, Ferrybank

The world event takes place in Dublin next Tuesday (4th March) and will be followed by the Irish regional finals, with approx 160 projects (including the aforementioned local ones) showcased across Wednesday and Thursday.
