South Leinster IFA members meeting in Carlow hears costs are up 73% since 2017 with incomes down 34%

Farming costs have risen by 73% since 2017 but incomes are down 34%.

So attendees of the South Leinster IFA meeting in Carlow were told last night.

Farmers flocked to the Woodford Dolmen Hotel to discuss a range of issues and also to hear from a number of speakers, including the organisation’s President Francie Gorman from County Laois and Kilkenny based South Leinster Regional Chair Paul O’Brien.
