St Luke’s Hospital has 3rd highest number of people on trolleys today
30 patients were waiting on trolleys in St Luke’s Hospital for Carlow/Kilkenny today – one of the highest figures in the country.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation’s latest report shows that nationally there were 417 waiting for a bed.
St Luke’s had the third most overcrowded emergency department in the country at 30 patients.
The worst, was Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar at 34.
