You’re being urged to take a walk on the wild-side in Ballon.
The Ballon Improvement Group is launching a Biodiversity Audit this lunchtime and an action plan for the Historic Carlow Village.

The Audit is a survey of all the plants and animals that can be found locally – including a few surprises.
Chairperson of the group Maire George says it’s about information and conservation, but also to encourage you to get out and about and enjoy all that nature has to offer.
Maire’s also calling for the council to carryout a county-wide audit.
