A new service in Kilkenny providing support and awareness around suicide prevention says the demand locally has been huge.
Teach Tom is an initiative of the Thomas Hayes Trust offering free counselling, family support and therapy to individuals and families affected by suicide.
They are currently fundraising to get the doors of the facility open.
But founder Angela Hayes says the demand has been such that they have had to look at a temporary premises in the meantime.
