Teenagers arrested in connection with alleged fraud in Kilkenny

Gardaí are investigating an alleged fraud targeting an elderly man in Kilkenny on Sunday.

The man received a call from someone claiming to be from his bank, telling him his card had been used fraudulently and that a bank representative would collect it.

With the help of Gardaí, three males, aged in their late teens, were arrested and charged in connection with the investigation.

They appeared before Kilkenny District Court yesterday.
