Tesco creating 1,200 seasonal jobs for Christmas including in Carlow

The roles set to include flexible hours and shift options

Tesco Ireland is creating 1,200 hundred temporary jobs for the Christmas season – 24 of them in Carlow. 

The positions are being advertised across its super and extra stores nationwide.

The company already employs more than 13,000 staff in its outlets across the country with locations including in Carlow town and Tullow while they introduced their first Kilkenny offering in Ferrybank and are due to open on High Street in Kilkenny soon with plans for another at the former city mart site.

Maurice Kelly People Director at Tesco Ireland says flexible hours are available for anyone who applies, noting “We are delighted to announce that we’re investing in 1,200 seasonal roles this Christmas and those roles are available nationwide, they are designed to offer a really flexible hours and a real variety of shift options”.
