The Coronas will return to play Live at the Marquee Cork this summer on Friday 19 June and Saturday 20 June, an ‘annual pilgrimage’ as I put it, or ‘annual privilege’ as guitarist Dave McPhillips puts it.
The last eight years has seen The Coronas establish themselves as one of Ireland’s best-loved bands and sell out Ireland’s biggest venues.
Now with three double platinum albums under their belt, The Coronas released their fourth album and debut major label LP The Long Way, released in November through Island Records. The album includes the singles Just Like That, All The Others, released earlier in 2014.
Dave joined me for a chat on the show tonight to give an insight into how things are going in the UK after signing with Island, how the album is going and what’s in store for fans when the band hit Cork this summer.
