On this week’s Glanbia Farmshow, Paul O’ Brien, Environment chairman of IFA, spoke about the implications of the Green Deal and Farm to Fork for Irish farming and he highlighted the green credentials of Irish agriculture.

Richard Halloran of Agriland outlined the implications for Irish exports of the pending trade deals between the UK and Australia and New Zealand.

PR consultant, Liam De Paor, warned of the increases in costs of farming and farm building. Liam predicted higher production costs for the main farm enterprises.

Eric Driver delivered the Tullow Mart report and George Candler gave an update on livestock prices at Cillin Hill and confirmed increased Covid regulations were being imposed on everyone attending the mart.
