Mount Leinster Rangers selector Edward Coady says the group are devastated after their defeat to Naas in the AIB Leinster Senior Club Hurling Quarter-Final at Netwatch Cullen Park.
The Carlow champions were beaten 2-17 to 1-17 in a hard-fought contest, ending their provincial campaign.
Speaking after the game, Coady said Naas always managed to keep that vital edge:
“They always had a little bit of a cushion there in the last 20 minutes. And down to 14 men then made it extra hard to try and get scores inside. But look, the boys to a man left everything on the field — absolutely everything. It was one tough battle.”
