We’ve been hearing from some of the representatives of groups that benefitted from fundraising by and donations to the Kilkenny Lions Club. This evening it’s the turn of Troyscourt Homes for the Elderly, also known as St Canice’s Parish Housing, and the Newpark Close Family Resource Centre – and first from the local branch that supports carers.
Sue takes a visit to SunArc Solar Systems who have their premises off the M9 at Exit 4. Brothers Pat and Thomson, one a roofer one an electrician set up their solar panel business in response to the great demand for these systems because of climate change and more recently the spiralling cost of electricity.
