Three people remain in hospital following a serious crash close to Kilkenny city.

It happened in the Templemartin area, on the M9 link road, last Friday.

It was the most serious incident on roads in our two counties over the bank holiday weekend, though a number of detections were made at local checkpoints;

Thankfully no lives were lost locally but Divisional Roads Policing Inspector for Waterford / Kilkenny Paul Donohoe says his team was kept busy during the latest safety campaign;
