Tools taken from vans parked up in Carlow and Kilkenny overnight

Gardaí say they can’t rule out the possibility of a connection in the taking of tools from vans in Carlow and Kilkenny overnight.

A VW Crafter parked at the Hoban Hotel in Kilkenny was hit between 6 and 10:30pm while a 241 Transit in the Chapelstown Gate estate off the Tullow Road in Carlow was broken into at about 11:20pm.
