The Gorta-Self Help Africa charity would not exist with the work of Michael Lambert.
That’s according to the charity’s Communications Manger, George Jacob.
The Hacketstown man was tragically killed in an accident on a farm on Saturday afternoon.
His funeral takes place at 12 noon today in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Knockananna.
Tribute is being paid to his efforts as a co-founder and director of the charity which operated from a building on his farm for about 20 years after he and his brother helped found it.
Gorta-Self Help Africa Communications manager George Jacob says their input was crucial and they’ve left a great legacy.
