Two men needed medical assistance following what’s been described as a public order incident in Callan yesterday.
It happened on Bridge Street at about 1:30pm.

KCLR News understands at least four people were involved in a punch-up on the bridge at the heart of the town to the dismay of those in the area.
Injuries to both are understood to have been non-life-threatening and were treated at the scene by paramedics with the ambulances services.
A garda spokesperson says they were notified and investigations are ongoing.
