Two outlets in Carlow and Kilkenny granted funding under Regional Museum Exhibitions Scheme

Carlow and Kilkenny are to get a share of over €300,000 allocated to local and regional museums.

Amounts ranging up to a max of €15,000 is to be granted to 32 entities across the country to help them create new exhibitions and online events.

Butler Gallery in Kilkenny City will see a spend of €7,600 for the digitisation of its collection.

While Carlow County Museum benefits to the tune of €4,100 for the conservation, mounting and framing of an 1899 tablecloth.
