Carlow GAA have confirmed the venues for their upcoming Dioralyte Walsh Cup and O’Byrne Cup fixtures, with Netwatch Cullen Park unavailable for the early-season competitions.
The Carlow senior footballers will begin their O’Byrne Cup campaign at Eire Óg, where they host Offaly on Saturday, January 3rd. Regardless of that result, Carlow are guaranteed another outing on Wednesday, January 7th, either in the O’Byrne Cup or the Shield, with that fixture set to take place at Brother Leo Park in Tullow.
In hurling, Carlow will welcome Dublin to SETU Carlow on Sunday, January 4th, in the opening round of the Dioralyte Walsh Cup.
That match will mark the first competitive outing for new Carlow senior hurling manager Pat Bennett, as preparations begin for the 2026 inter-county season.
