A ban on visitors remains in place at St Lukes Hospital for Carlow Kilkenny following an outbreak of the vomiting bug.
The ban was introduced last Friday at the local hospital after 2 wards had to close as a result of Norovirus.
Those restrictions remain in place today.
Beaumont hospital in Dublin has also introduced visitor restrictions due to the vomiting bug this week.
