Warning for Carlow and Kilkenny motorists heading northbound with M9 closed in Kildare

If you’re due to use the M9 to get to Dublin from Carlow or Kilkenny this morning take note.

The route’s been closed northbound between Junction 2 Kilcullen and Junction 1 (meeting M7) following a crash before 7:30am.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene.

It’s not yet known if anybody’s been injured but diversions are in place and motorists are advised to expect delays.
