Wins for Crettyard and Freshford in Junior Cups

Penalty drama was the order of the day for carlow and Kilkenny sides in Junior cup action today

Crettyard led Quigley’s point 4-1 into the second half of their clash in I.t Carlow until a dramatic fightback saw the game end 4-4 after 120 minutes

They eventually won 5-4 on peno’s in sudden death.

it was also a drama filled day for Freshford who required penalties to beat Ck united.

they led 1-0 at half time but conceded a 97th minute equaliser.

The game went to peno’s where the Kilkenny side won 4-3.
