The Woodford Dolmen Hotel has been declared Best 4 Star Hotel in Leinster and took home the overall Excellence in Service prize from the Irish Hotel Awards.
A host of accolades were passed out at The Johnstown Estate this week.
The local crew were heralded for their commitment to exceptional service, welcoming atmosphere, and memorable guest experiences – General Manager Colin Duggan says; “We are honoured to have been chosen for two awards of such esteem as we constantly strive to provide every guest with an unforgettable stay. It is a great accomplishment and testament to the effort and dedication of our entire team. He adds; “The hotel was awarded its fourth star just two years ago and to win the title of Best 4-Star in Leinster after such a short time reinforces our mission to exceed exceptional standards of service.” Duggan added “We look forward to continuing to deliver and improve our guest’ experiences”.
Elsewhere in our region, Clanard Court Hotel in Kildare won the Best Wedding Hotel
Waterford Castle was deemed to be the most Romantic Hotel, with Gillian O’Dea named best of the country’s Wedding Planners and colleague Fiona King tops among the Breakfast Managers.
While in the same county, Megan Clarke and Evan Kennedy of the Majestic Hotel in Tramore won Best Bar Manager.
