3 people from Kilkenny and 2 from Carlow were successful at the ABP/Macra Leadership distinction awards last week.
53 people across the country received Leadership Distinction Awards last Saturday night.
Aoife Lanigan, Colm Lyons & Brendan Phelan from Kilkenny were awarded a gold certificate for leadership in their region.
Meanwhile, Lisa Murphy and Lorcan Murphy from Carlow received a silver certificate for leadership in their region.
The awards were handed out as part of the Macra Na Feirme training weekend, held in University of Limerick.
A gold certificate is the higest award that can be secured by a county officer, and that makes the person eligible to be considered for a Macra National leadership award.
180 county representatives took part in the training weekend in Limerick, with 53 young people from across the country receiving leadership distinction awards.
