Carlow and Kilkenny among the areas hosting this year’s Pieta 100 Charity Cycle

Carlow and Kilkenny have been picked as two of 10 locations to host this year’s Pieta 100 Charity Cycle.

It takes place on the 25th of September, and will include a 50km and 100km route through the two counties.

The route will start at Clara GAA club in Kilkenny and will go through areas including Gowran, Thomastown, Borris and Fenagh before returning to Clara.

The cycle, supported by Aviva, aims to raise vital funds for Pieta House.

It comes as the charity celebrates it’s 10-year-anniversary, with €100,000 raised last year.
