Child hospitalised after dog attack in Bagenalstown, County Carlow

A local councillor says the seven-year-old suffered bad facial injuries

A seven-year-old child had to be airlifted to hospital after being mauled by a dog in Co Carlow over the weekend.

It happened in Bagenalstown on Sunday.

Local Cllr Andy Gladney has been telling KCLR News that it involved “A little small girl, she has bad facial injuries and was airlifted to Beaumont Hospital”.
