Another very cold start as we continue under an Orange Low Temperature weather warning.
Many schools remain closed and services disrupted while roads and paths continue to be icy in parts with freezing fog lingering in pockets of both counties. (what we know will be updated on air and online here).
The country’s official coldest spot last night was Mullingar in Co Westmeath with minus 7.5 degrees.
