Forget the quick fix – that’s the message when it comes to weight loss.

The topic was the strongest feature of the fortnightly fitness slot on KCLR Breakfast on the first day of the level 5 Covid-19 restrictions. Many people seemingly want to use the six weeks to get back in shape in time for the festive season we all hope we get to enjoy.

Ger O’Toole, fitness instructor at Kilkenny Ormonde Leisure Club is among those not working at the moment due to the partial lockdown.

But he continues to answer your questions every second Thursday after 9am and this time around he also touched on weight training for women, toning up once the weight goes and more.
