Gardaí are looking for witnesses after a girl was assaulted in broad daylight in Carlow last week.
At about 6.30 last Wednesday evening the girl was walking towards Carlow Town Centre via Kennedy Avenue when she was approached from behind by another woman.

Her hair was pulled, she was pushed to the ground and kicked while on the ground.
Garda Joe Reville says they’re looking for anyone who may have seen anything to come forward.
The other girl isn’t believed to have been known to the victim.
The victim was said to be left shaken after the incident.
