The people have spoken for #GE2020 in the Carlow-Kilkenny constituency.
Now, it’s down to the election count to find out which five, from fourteen candidates, will fill the seats for the region.
With polling stations having closed at 10pm, ballot boxes will be moved from stations all over Kilkenny and Carlow to the count centre for this year, the conference centre at Lyrath Estate.
“Tallymen”, counters, supporters, election fans and the media will be gathering at Lyrath Estate from the early hours of Sunday morning with the first boxes expected to open at 9am.
