Kilkenny road prone to flooding to be fixed next week
Dunningstown Road fills with water each time there's heavy rain

Works look set to start next week on a Kilkenny road that tends to flood.
A dip in the Dunningstown Road fills with water each time there’s heavy rain.
And, with a number of buildings due to be built in the area, Cllr Martin Brett says fixing the issue now is timely. ”If we get heavy rain fall then there’s a flood on that road. The water will cascade down and go into someone’s garden. I approached Ian Gardiner and thanks be to God he found the money and so works will commence next week. This will relieve the whole situation and make it easier for drivers and people to traverse the road there.”
