More local residents outline concerns re wind farm proposals for Carlow and Kilkenny uplands

More local residents have been highlighting plans for wind farms in their area.

Three companies are understood to be proposing 36 turbines for the uplands area which stretches between Carlow and Kilkenny.

Pauline O’Connell moved out of Kilkenny City in 2003 to Coolcullen and she’s been telling of her concerns to our Sue Nunn on The Way It Is while on the same show Eugene O’Sullivan of Castlewarren has been outlining the shock felt in his community (we also recently heard from another on this one – more on that here).
