Ukrainian resident outlines impact of being told of accommodation closure on Carlow Kildare border

“It’s terrible, it’s awful, everybody are in stress, people are crying, nobody sleeps”.

That’s how those residing at the former Toughers Restaurant property on the Carlow Kildare border are feeling after being told it will cease to provide accommodation to them by the 1st of January.

Deputy Jennifer Murnane O’Connor earlier told KCLR News what she knew of the situation.
