Family and friends of Olympic athletes with connections to Carlow and Kilkenny have been outlining their pride in the efforts getting to and competing in France.
Wexfordian Sophie Becker, whose mother Tina Cody’s originally from Kilkenny city, ran this morning with the following outcome;

Both are back in action on Friday in the 4x400m relay.
