Workers at Kilkenny County Council water services department in day two of labour withdrawal

Pickets are set to resume today at Kilkenny City and County halls.

Up to 26 of the local authority’s water services staff began a two day withdrawal of labour yesterday in a dispute which they say is over out-of-hours pay (more on that here).

It’s an escalation of the industrial action they began three weeks ago (read that here).
