More than 50 planning applications have been received by Carlow County Council so far this year.
The majority have so far been granted.
As of the end of February this year, 56 planning applications had been made to the local council.
Of those, 41 have already been granted, none have been refused but seven applications were invalid.
Meanwhile, six complaints have so far been received by the housing section of the council.
Two of those have been closed, two enforcement notices have been issued and there are also seven court proceedings still ongoing.
Four complaints have been received about derelict sites in the county with two owners having been contacted by the council.
At the moment there are 36 derelict site cases ongoing.
