Carlow Pensioner says she was made homeless this week

“I’ve heard absolutely nothing from the council or the department” – so says a Carlow pensioner who has this week been left without a home.
Susan McGough from St Mullins was forced to move out of her home at Christmas after floods destroyed it and was staying in temporary accommodation paid for by the Department of Social Protection.
However, this week she’s had to leave that accommodation despite the fact that her own house is still not fit to be lived in.
Speaking to KCLR News, Susan says she’s been offered no help by the authorities.
