The issue of the lack of public toilets in Carlow and Kilkenny will have to be looked at as tourism grows over the coming years.
So says Colin Ahern of Kilkenny Tourism who was speaking after a number of people contacted KCLR in the last few days to complain about the lack of facilities.
Concerns were raised that it might adversly affect tourism locally.
However, speaking to KCLR News, Colin says pub and hotel owners in Kilkenny especially have no problems letting people use their facilities when needed.
