Covid-19 latest: 448 new cases as ICU numbers remain stable

Health officials have confirmed 448 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland this afternoon.

42 patients are currently in hospital with the virus, down four on yesterday’s figure.

While the number of people in ICU remains unchanged at 14.
