Displaced pigeons in Kilkenny are taking their revenge by making a mess of the city’s High Street.
The birds had made the brewery site their home for years but due to the ongoing works there have moved on.
It means they are now nesting along High Street and Councillor Michael McCarthy says its creating an expensive mess for shop-owners who are being left to clean up their droppings.
He says its creating an environmental issue and a health issue aswell as the cost of cleaning up.
