A local businessman has told KCLR Live this morning that the town is really suffering and in risk of decimation.
PJ Hickson was speaking about the lack of businesses in Carlow and the connection between the town centre and the Fairgreen Shopping Centre.

The number of empty premises and derelict houses in the town centre is also a major talking point for locals.
Speaking to KCLR, PJ says there needs to be a clear connection between the centre and the rest of the town.
