Emergency services are dealing with a crash on the M9.
It happened before 6am northbound between Junction 4 Castledermot and Junction 3 Athy.
Motorists are asked to avoid the stretch while the situation is dealt with.
It’s not yet known if anybody’s been injured.
It comes as we revealed that on Sunday night a pedestrian died in County Laois while separately another person died in a traffic incident in a Kilkenny city carpark yesterday (Monday) morning.
