Scene of fatal Crettyard crash still closed to traffic

The local road where a pedestrian was killed at the weekend remains closed to traffic for now.

A 38 year old man died after being struck by a car at Clonbrock Crettyard on the main Castlecomer to Athy road – just after 10 o’clock last Saturday night.

Gardai say the road between Crettyard and Newtown Cross will remain closed until around lunchtime today following that incident.
