Work to finally start on restoring railings at Carlow Courthouse

Work on the railings at Carlow courthouse looks finally set to happen this year.

Restoration work on the protected structures was originally meant to happen when the courthouse itself underwent refurbishment 15 years ago but never did.

Theres been continuous calls from local Councillors to address the matter since.

Now its emerged that background work has now been carried out and the Courts Service plans to begin the restoration work later this year.
